A little bit about me...


Hi, I'm Carla and thank you for visiting my website.  I'm a passionate family photographer based in Minehead who enjoys all aspects of family photography, from being outside on location or in my studio. 


I caught the photography bug 5 years ago now, when my son Hugo was born. My maternity leave afforded me the time to venture out with Hugo, camera in hand, and capture some of the beautiful places on Exmoor. When the pandemic hit, lockdown forced me to shoot indoors and that's when I fell in love with family photography, capturing both my sons and partner. I'm fortunate that photography runs in my family, so following some lessons from my dad and a lot of online learning, here I am today capturing memories for families alike. 


For me photography is about creating memories that last a lifetime, breaking through those forced smiles and capturing those authentic personalities. I want to evoke that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you look back through your images and relive that moment. Images are timeless and I want them to be perfect.
