Christmas Mini Sessions 2024
I'm super excited to announce that Christmas Mini Sessions are back for 2024 with 2 new stunning backdrop scenes. Last year was absolutely fantastic, we had snow ball fights, we posted letters to Santa, we had hot chocolate snuggles on a bench and some story time reading - no forced smiles here just lots of Christmassy fun!
These sessions will run throughout November on selected dates and I encourage you to book your slot early as I only have limited slots available. I will run these sessions until late November which will give me the chance to get your images back to you to make some beautiful Xmas pressies!
Sessions will take place in a private room alongside the Christmas Fair at Minehead Methodist Church as well as in my studio. Please see below for dates and backdrops. This year I have a choice of beautiful backdrops for you to choose from which will be on rotation during selected dates through November. Due to the size of my studio I can only accommodate one smaller backdrop at a time suitable for children. My larger family backdrop will be available on Saturday 9th November only.
Please note these sessions are back to back slots with very limited time in between, so please ensure you arrive on time and no sooner than 5 minutes before your session time starts.
Mini Session Includes:
- 15 min studio session
- Full use of beautiful scenes and Christmas props
- 10 x 8 Print of your favourite image
- Access to online viewing gallery where you will be able to purchase digital images and packages.
Session fee: £25.00
Important information:
- Sessions limited to 1 household only. For multiple households, please book back to back sessions or contact me directly to ensure we have sufficient time for your session.
- Maximum of 4 children per session.
- Christmas sessions are suitable for children who can sit securely unaided and older. Newborns or young babies will need to be held by an adult or older sibling during the session.
How to book:
To book your session, simply select your date below and follow the booking process. Please note the session fee will be payable at the point of booking in order to secure your slot. After you have booked you’ll be sent an email confirmation right away with further information about your session.

FAQ
How many children can take part?
These sessions are perfect for up to three or four children. If you have more than four children, or if you’d like to have photos taken with extended family members, please get in touch so we can discuss your options!
Can I use more than 1 scene?
You are welcome to use all backdrops during your session time to ensure we get the maximum amount of variety in your gallery and you have lots of beautiful images to choose from!
What if we are late?
These sessions are 15 minute maximum slots only so unfortunately if you arrive late you will only have the available time left during your slot. These are back to back sessions so please ensure you arrive on time in your outfits ready to go.
What should my child/children wear?
The most important thing is to wear something you are all comfortable in, but a popular choice may be your favourite Christmas jumpers, a smart outfit or matching PJs. I always recommend avoiding clothes with writing or slogans on them, as this can be distracting when viewing the overall image. If you have more than one child, dressing them in matching outfits can work really well, otherwise simply coordinating colours can be simple and effective. Please arrive ready in your outfits to ensure we get the most out of our session and feel free to bring an outfit change such as a pair of Christmas PJs although outfit changes will eat into the session time.
Can I bring any toys or props?
Absolutely. Adding your child’s favourite teddy or book can really help personalise your images so feel free to bring whatever props you like.
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, because Christmas Mini Sessions are being held at external venues this year, no pets will be allowed.
What if I need to cancel?
Booking fees are non-refundable however where possible I will try and accommodate you on another session date and time. Due to availability, I cannot guarantee this however.
Where can I view my images?
After your session I will send you a link to your gallery where you can view and choose your final images. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery of your images, however I know you will want them for Christmas cards etc, and will endeavour to get your final images to you asap!
